About the Site
"The Online Tambayan of U.P. Diliman." So goes the slogan of this web site. So, yes, ASwalk.net aims to be the premiere online content portal about the U.P. Diliman extra-curricular culture in ways that the official U.P. Diliman website cannot fulfill.
There is currently an Org Directory at the Student Orgs section where you can look for good orgs to join.
About the Name
The real AS Walk in UP Diliman is arguably the center of student extra-curricular activities in the campus. Hardly a day passes by that the AS Walk is not filled with booths put up by the different student orgs.
Likewise, ASwalk.net aims to be a center of UP extra-curricular activities here in the Internet.
About the Creator
ASwalk.net was created by Eugene Alvin Villar aka seav, an alumni of U.P. Diliman. He currently writes at his personal blog vaes9 and has a few other blogs and web projects.
