The vision of UP Batangan has been forged and shaped by selfless sacrifices of its members, alumni and advisers through their hardwork and perseverance so generously given by the Almighty God. It is a vision that continues to grow, evolve and mature over time; it is not a lightning flash that accidentally crossed the dark mind, ignited only by a spark of its grand illusion of grandeur.

The vision of UP Batangan is centered, directed and focused on service to people. "Kababayans" and the nation as a whole is the be all and end all of our efforts and endeavors: "to respect the individual freedom and dignity of all persons and to encourage free exchange of ideas and develop leadership and civic-spiritedness."

It is UPB’s profound concern for the people that gives us the depth, our sincere initiative to reach all gives us the width, and our honest efforts to serve as a model for the rest of the country that gives us the length, thus we intend to convert our mission: "to uphold civic, academic and social activities for the advancement and welfare of its members, UP studentry, fellow Batangueños and Filipinos as well."

Our history, culture, values and traditions have strengthened our commitment to pursue this mission as our primary objectives: Foster "kapatiran," unity and cooperation among its members and students of the university. Serve the interests of its members, fellow Batangueños and Filipinos.

A qualified applicant must be an enrolled student of UP Diliman who is either: 1) a resident of Batangas for at least 6 months before the sem of application, or 2) has one of his/her parents lived and grew up in Batangas, and must be non-graduating on the sem of application
