UP Lakan is a socio-civic, non-profit, non-partisan organization of UP students from Bulacan. Founded on February 22, 1988, UP Lakan’s aims to : 1) Promote camaraderie among the UP students from Bulacan; 2) Help other high-school students from bulacan to enter the country’s premiere university; and 3) Conduct socio-civic projects that will help the residents of Bulacan; among others

Qualified applicants must be a student of UP who is either 1) a resident of Bulacan, 2) was a resident of Bulacan for at least a year, 3) studied in Bulacan for at least a year, or 4) one of the parents or grandparents resides in Bulacan.
