The UP Physics Association is a duly recognized academic organization of the College of Science in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. It was founded on December 17, 1980. Already on its twenty-third year, it continues to support the National Institute of Physics in its goal making the NIP the country’s center of excellence in Pure and Applied Physics and other technological breakthroughs.

You can find the UPPA tambayan at the second floor of NIP, Rm. 3222. You can drop by at the tambayan anytime you want if you need help. Application forms are also available this June if you’re interested to join.

We, the UPPA offer more than just sample exams. We offer free tutorials in Physics and Math, even in Com and Hum, P.E., lovelife, etc., if you need any. If you’re a member, you have access to the PA library for free and you instantly gain yourself the coolest and cutest set of friends who, most of all, understand your language.

To qualify for Regular Membership in the Association, an applicant must be an undergraduate UP student who is a registered physics or applied physics major.

To qualify for Associate Membership in the Association, an applicant must satisfy any one of the following minimum requirements:

(1) He/she must be a former Regular member of the Association who is still registered in the University as an undergraduate student

(2) He/she must be a registered undergraduate UP student who has completed at least five (5) units of lower division courses in the UP Physics Department, excluding Natural Science I.
