The UP Rifle Pistol Team is a special interest, non-academic organization specializing in the UIT/Olympic sport of 10-meter air rifle and air pistol shooting. Now on its 32nd year of existence, UPRPT is one of the most distinguished organizations in UP Diliman. In the past three decades it has never faltered from its goal to breed excellent shooters. Throughout the years, our very own shooters have become part of the Philippine National Shooting Team, bringing glory and honor to our country. About 20 UPRPT alumni have been and are part of the PNSA training and developmental pool. In line with the aim to craft the shooters’ skill in every team member, we compete against other student shooting organizations. The team also share the enjoyment of target shooting to non-members as we participate in the annual University Fair. We also fulfill our social responsibility by being involved in socio-cultural and community development activities.

Applicants should have passed the try-outs (open to all UP Students, held usually in August), and should have gone through the application process (usually a month-period after the try-outs and the interviews).
